Just thinking, is there any place apart from WCW and soap national to get rubbers. They always seem like proper ripoffs for a bit of rubber, end up paying 10 quid for 18" including delivery etc. Wtf??

Any place to get bulk cheap, or just singles??

Cheers

There are loads of places online to buy rubber. Just google window cleaning supplies or equipment. The problem is if you only buy a few you will end up paying delivery but most places offer free shipping on orders over £50 (and do bulk buy offers). If you would rather buy from one place, find the cheapest on the net then ask your preferred supplier if they do price matching.

If you haven't a window cleaning store in your area you can try a local janitorial shop but you will usually end up paying 2 or 3 times the price compared to online purchasing.

Loadsa places I'm sure everyone has their own preference for shops but if ya got a screwfix near ya.

That's a rip off!

What's wrong with soap national?

http://www.soapnational.co.uk/acatalog/squeegee-rubbers.html

These are the cheapest I can find & I always look around. It's £18 for 10 x 42" strips, so you can get 30 14" bits out of that.

By time you add VAT & delivery, it works out about 80p per rubber- you won't get cheaper than that.

That's nearly half the price of screwfix!

im impressed with prices on this fair bit cheaper than wcw
It is good price! But we will price match anyone out there and do so regularly. Prices do fluctuate online and it's hard to keep up sometimes, we will always try and match and even better a deal if you let us know. (end of shameless plug)

Good one wm. very good prices & they do unger soft. A bonus. I will also be using them. You ought to ask for commission lol.
Think I should after this post! lol

I've been using them for years. They're not great on wfp, but trad stuff is great prices- and the rubber is cheaper than anywhere by a mile.

I ordered from wcw and cleaning spot the other day 20 items from wcw and 3 from cleaning spot wcw 2 days to deliver ( very happy man), cleaning spot sent all 3 items separately over 7 days( not happy) so wcw for me as I hate waiting for deliveries

Hi All,

New to the forum, I saw this thread and registered. I have looked at a few of the links and most of the mentioned stores are charging a fortune/ unreasonable delivery.

A family member of mine runs the following company and I / we are putting together a new web site, just launched in January. I think you will find the prices a little more reasonable including delivery.

Because the site is new you can get an extra 10% off your first order too.

Links below directly to replacement window squeegee blades.

dynamic-chemicals.co.uk/p-25cm-10inch-window-squeegee-rubber-blade-1522.aspx

I can't yet post clickable links, can anyone who finds this usefull please repost link.

Would the site admins have any interest in offering forum members discount on window cleaning products at our new web store.

Wow that was a quick response /emoticons/smile.png

As previously mentioned the site is very new and we are still a bit short in our product descriptions. The brand of the replacement squeegee blades is quite well known.

The brand in the link below although not updated on our site (at the moment) is Pulex. Will get this updated ASAP

We do not currently stock Unger products, however may do in the future.

Totally agree mate. CS is cheaper but take longer. To be honest I can't fault wcw at all.
