Standing on a porch roof.

I'm looking at a small estate that has a lot of these porch covers. Would you think they'd be okay to stand on or a complete no-go? Should I just use a pole instead? Just want to make sure it gets a good hand clean on the first clean.

What do you all think?

Nope. Pitch the ladder above the window or use a point ladder and go off the side.

Do not stand on the roof. They are slippery and i seriously doubt they’re built to withstand that sort of weight. Backpack & wfp job

Shouldn't be a issue unless the paving slopes off, You may need to look at a rojak ladder stopper a quick google will show you whats available

Those are usually the houses where they stick those patio doors in on the middle floor and then those crazy bars over the front to stop people from falling out thus preventing people from cleaning the windows. Id love to know who comes up with these designs [emoji85]

Guys my apologies,whilst the rojak is quality,I find the ladder matrix with the 800 pins in the base...the kit of choice have a look on you tube ...

Wouldn,t stand on it. You will have to use ladder if you want good hand clean for first time clean.

100% Do not stand on the roof. Could cause damage and too much risk.

If you are happy and confident then use a ladder. 

A safer alternative is to use a pole.

Trad or Wfp backpack.

So wouldn’t advise it unless you want to give work away.

Well it's the angle that I am worried about mostly. And if a ladder stopper would be able to cope with it whilst being able to get close enough to the windows to actually clean it...
