View attachment 8103 Now and again you get these people that go from 4 weekly to 8 then try and taper you in to 3 or 4 times a year. They drive me nuts so today I thought I'd stand my ground because a) I'd rather she cancelled than have another 12 weekly clean that's out of sync with the rest of the road she lives in OR b) If I'm going to do it she can pay a premium.

So this is how the discussion went...

Funny how she suddenly felt the need to 180 back and has the money for an 8 weekly again.

Small win for Tuesday...

When you have to miss a customer on occasion you really notice it the next time around. But they don't always appreciate the difference.

Had one this morning who did though and it was quite a refreshing conversation. It was a new one so I hope it stays that way.

Yep and it puts her completely out of sync with the other 4 I do on her street, which then means I'm stopping for one rather than five on her turn. More of a pain. It's not regular income either. I try and balance my 8 weekly work amongst my 'off' month so that it isn't too varied. When you've got a shed load extra one month compared to the other it's a real financial hit when they aren't due.

i have just the one 12 weekly clean, it isnt a problem as im on her street 4 weekly anyway.

Thats wht ive done with my 8 weeklys, i simply put them on alternate 4 weeks to try to balance the workload up each cycle.

Yeah the ones on 4 weekly streets are fine, albeit dirtier than the rest, but no preferential treament is needed in a sense of going to a road just for one house, but a 12 on an 8 is just not logical.

Still, I'd rather not have any 12's but some people just aren't that bothered for regularity!
