Suitable size of ladder

It is permanent but as it folds up against the stiles you don't notice it

I find it good in another way in that the ladder is top heavy with the stand off on, the extra weight at the base with the brace is a good counter balance, I've even considered adding extra weight at the base end...

Thanks Smurf, and everyone else for the advice. I love the ladder but again being in Ireland carriage cost is the killer, nearly 200. So I am going to contact seller to see if I can get a courier to pick it up, should be way cheaper.
