A lot of the houses I clean have a window over a flat roof. To save climbing on it I bought a swivel connector. Trouble is I keep having to adjust it, it either locks up or swivels too much. Is it me? Or am I doing something wrong? Do I just have to stick with it?
    Any ideas?

Mine does it too. Have to tighten it every few weeks or so. If it bothers you Alex will send another nut or whatever, he's good like that.

I could not get on with the gardiners swivel. I find the tecbuk sidetrack much easier to use and control

Richy, the Tecbuk SideTrack turns the brush into a genuine pivoting brush; SideTrack is attached directly to the brush.

The lowest part of the SideTrack pivot that moves is just 3mm away from the brush. When used with a Tecbuk brush the moving pivot can be approximately 30mm from the glass being cleaned. This is important to maintain any cleaning speed and ease of use that Tecbuk brushes have, but as with all pivots the pressure point is moved and more care needs to be taken when cleaning at the edges of the brush.

    Richard

(You have a pivoting angle adapter, which is very different. The moving part of the pivot will be approximately 15 times (45mm) further away when it is just attached to the brush; and 3”-4” inches away from the glass when in use, depending on the brush)

Well I've just bought a Tecbuk Side Trak. :D
    Thanks for all the info.
I'm like a child at Xmas now. Can't wait for it to arrive.
