Spotless are you mad! Its about £20 to fill a 500 litre tank. Think your self lucky most people have to use RO we've been lucky in bham for years. Well it carnt just be that as mines been in and around the 100 mark for months now. Hope it does lower but 6 weeks out of a bag of resin aint too bad considering how much work you get. When was the last time you checked your tap tds as i bet you didn't even notice untill a few weeks back but believe me its been mega high for at least 3 months now in bham. So carnt be the reservoir.
I have never needed to check my tap reading as I replace only the one tank of Resin the last lot lasted 6 weeks just like any other time but I do however check the reading out of the Resin Tanks every day that's why when it was showing 0006 yesterday after 3 weeks I got suspicious, I have only got a 210 litre tank I also fill 3 backpacks and take a few extra barrels so never take more than 300 litres, it won't cost me even a tenner a day as I rarely use all of the water I'll take that at least I can fill up in a couple of minutes, I also find changing Resin a chore so I'll be doing it twice as often now.

That dont make sense your complaining that the resin isnt lasting long enough but your happy to spend 10 a day on spotless when its only £80 for a bag of resin lol it takes 15 mins to fill a 25litre di vessel every 6 weeks hardly a chore. My tap ppm has been  aound 100ish last few months and ive been using 500-600 litres a day 5 days a week as i like a high flow rate. Im using 2x 25 litre di bottles and get 6 weeks out a of bag of resin so not that bad. Noway would i use spotless tho it's far too expensive.

I've read a Post mentioning that complaining about this Water issue is not important, this is effectively a 50% increase in Resin usage, trying to run this business and earn a living is tough, it's not just about Resin we had 8 consecutive weeks of fuel cost rises, my Web Site Fee for my plan went up  by 40% recently, Customers Budgets are being squeezed so try passing on a 40-50% price increase on to your customers you'll lose your round I've been in this game for 28 years 18 years Trad and 10 WFP it's not just a case of so what your Resin costs more.

Ive allways got around 6 weeks out of a bag of resin untill the water increased in bham and got around 4 weeks maybe 5 so i decided to go double di which i should of done from the start so now back at around 6 weeks. Considering ill be able to earn on average £4800 from an £80 bag if resin i think its pretty good. Yes i agree its not good for profit but us bham windies have had it easy compared to the rest of the country. If it carries on i will be forced to go RO but carnt justify the waste water using RO. I spend roughly £720 a year on resin where if your RO you'd buy maybe 1 bag a year. When i move out next year im gonna look into going down the RO route.
