Morning all. I wanted to try and find out what water I was using each day so I can buy a new tank accordingly. And just being geeky to be honest!
I bought one of the BFG water meters and fitted it just after the tank outlet.
However in the last two days it seems to be seriously under reading what I’m actually using. For example yesterday it read that i had used 180 litres of water all day. My tank is 650 litres and it was about 2/3 ‘s full when I set out. When I got home there was maybe 100 litres tops left in it.
So I would guess that I had used somewhere in the region of 300-350 litres going off the what I had in the tank in the morning and what was left when I got home.
So why is it only showing 180 litres used on the meter?
I’m baffled. Anyone any ideas?
