I was wondering what you guys thought.
With the customers permission, I take photographs of their properties and use them on my website. I consider the picture to be mine and therefore have the right to use it.
Recently a customer moved and the new owners imported their old window cleaner so my services were not needed. However for a few years I have used a picture of this property on my website. The house is quite impressive and it looked pretty good.
A few days ago, I was contacted by the new owners asking me to remove the picture from my website, (not too sure how they knew) which I did.
Now I'm thinking that its my picture and therefore I could use it if I desired. I wont put it back on the website, but was just interested in your stance on this.
