Both my son and I developed belly button hernias swinging a 47' fibreglass pole around.

Sorry not read the entire thread but no problems with mine - been a great bit of kit! On a side note i've found that if your vehicles stereo has a usb socket, you can also recharge it from that! I don't bother bringing mine in now, i just leave it in the motor.

Yeah mines been OK, just didn't want to come and find it corroded, ians replied saying it's waterproof so that'll do me. 

I also just plug it in and leave in the van, can't leave it at home and that way I guess ??

On that note, @Ian Sheppardalthough the socket is waterproof, what about the metal contacts on the exterior part where the plug goes in? - If any water bridges the contacts will it short anything out? - Is corrosion any possibility as Baldmonkey says?
