Wfp versus traditional methods

You will never get frames as clean by hand as you do WFP, and I've never seen a trad cleaner thoroughly clean doors either.

Don't start all that wfp against trad stuff

Both methods will leave spotless frames when done properly and it's not hard to clean a door

Either you only know bad tradders or just carrying on the same old ******** argument that wfp must be better

Oh and they shine and stay clean for 6 months after wfp as your water is better

Possibly mate, i only clean the glass on doors not the doors themselves, unless im asked to which is extra, simply soap the door and wipe of with wet cloth and then dry cloth, it isn't hard, everyone has different views, you could say their doorstep and path wouldn't be soaking with water doing it traditional, if there is one thing i've learned people are creatures of habit, if they are happy i am happy, that's the way i've always worked, pay me the right money i'll do the right work

Hi johnny .. I never wfp front or back doors , ( especially this time of year)always trad ... Leaves a wet patch just nicely for custie to slip and blame. . The door frame always get a wipe with a damp cloth

I'd put my frames against any wfp. I'm up close to the window so can see everything. I get cheesed off the wfp cleaners go on about frames & how they clean em better. Absolute rubbish.

Why do wfp guys feel the need to run is down

We do the same job and you don't see me slagging them off

If your method works and custy is happy shut up and get on with it

Are you that insecure in your method you need to believe you are superior because I'm certainly secure enough in my methods and techniques

I don't think i will go wfp due to tds around 500 here and will be a pain in the arse to sort out but i have nothing against it

A trad person never knocks wfp. I never run it down to get jobs.

I think its a good method but I prefer trad. My preference but don't tell me I don't do this & that.

When I first started window cleaning ,I was trad only ,i cleaned the frame with a damp cloth then cleaned the glass then finished with wiping the cill ... Now with wfp I do the same , I would nt say there are cleaner now with cleaning by wfp , I would proberly say the upstairs cills are not as clean as before by hand ......my opinion

Those of us who have been in the game long enough did our apprenticeship trad

By apprenticeship i mean years of trad as wfp didn't exist

It worked then and will always work so just pick your method or methods if you are hybrid and go earn your money

That is what it is all about..the folding stuff that goes in my pocket (until mrs dave spends it)

Thinking about getting the wfp for some of my work, but i know it has mixed reviews, it has it's place i.e hard to reach windows and commercial work, most people are of the opinion traditional methods do a better job on your average house, simply because you can see any blemishes on the window and correct it, where as if you are on the ground you cant, my flat is housing association with sash casement windows and the paid a wfp guy do do them and they were atrocious, but i do understand that could be down to personal work standards, his brish didnt get into the corners or edges and there was dirty marks and paint flakes all over, that would never happy with traditional

It's like everything in life davey, my customers always compliment me, it's if i get guys out working with me, getting them to do the same standard that is hard

I have a few that don't like the wgp but like u said I will do upstairs with wfp and downstairs trad saves me a lot of time

I'm sure those top windows look really good to you from the ground, but as a window cleaner that has picked up multiple jobs from dissatisfied WFP customers I can tell you its a different when your face is up to the glass.

i did trad for years an still do lots of trad its simple wfp is beta an does a beta job 90 percent of the time windows stay cleaner for longer imo but some times trad is beta if rubbers r shxxxit ect im all for boath methards as each has there advantege i chouse buy wat ever does a beta job an its usly wfp
