I'm still in the research stages of setting up my business.

I live in a village with a neighbouring town which, going off facebook/google, appears to have 6 or 7 window cleaners advertising.

Is this a lot?

Depends on how many houses, size, frequency etc. It also depends on how good and reliable they are

Take a look at the competition and see how well established they are and what their online reputation is like. Have they got many reviews and how far back do they go?
There's usually room for another business providing reliability, quality of service and value for money.
