Just bought the Aldi Magnum stuff today. Haven't used it yet. How much do u put in? And do you use it alongside flash?i think Ecover works well if you are in a soft water area
unfortunately im not ,its hard water here, so hard you have to apply a fresh line of soap to your Tbar at each house
for ages i used the W5 washing up liquid from lidl ,[not the concentrated,i found that didnt mix into water quickly enough] i found W5 great stuff in hard water , but it takes its toll on your hands ,stings after a while and with employing workers i feared a possible compo claim.
About a year ago i switched over the Magnum from Aldi, looks exactly the same as the W5 but its not the same . whatever its ingredients are its milder on your skin than W5 and good if not better slip. if you are in a hard water area i recommend it
are you in a hard water area? i am, how i do it is i dip my Tbar in the bucket, pull it out and squirt a thin line of the Magnum direct onto the mop and thats it,good to go and do 1 house .Just bought the Aldi Magnum stuff today. No I live in a soft water area. But I live close to the sea, so the windows get quite dirty with salt. I have tried Ecover but I find it doesn't have great slip.are you in a hard water area? i am, how i do it is i dip my Tbar in the bucket, pull it out and squirt a thin line of the Magnum direct onto the mop and thats it,good to go and do 1 house .
it makes for a totally different job if the waters soft. now and then i use rainwater in my bucket and its a joy to work with, whereas with hard water from my tap it never really mixes properly with the washing up liquid and has very few if any bubbles .I don't think you can beat ecover but I am in a soft water area
I've built up a niche professional exterior property cleaning business with a very good reputation rather than just becoming another window cleaner in my area that can also offer different services.
Most of my work like I've mentioned before customers already have window cleaners but I'm not trying to sound big headed I'm simply very good at what so ppl are happy to pay a premium for my work.
When this eco stuff first came out it wasn't that good, but today it has much Improved. The Bio-D that I use is lemon (degreaser), sodium(mild abrasive) and glycerine (soapy), pure natural. Ecover has similar things in it. When they say that Fairy is kind to your hands, you can rub Bio-D into your hands and it's like these hand gels that you can buy.my gut feeling is that this ecological name tag is a sham . what soap occurs in the natural world ? . id bet if you drank a slug of it youd be sick
