For future reference, if you only put £10/20 of petrol in, brim it with diesel and you'll be fine. Petrol is a lighter fuel, diesel engine will cope just fine. 

I put some petrol in my Dad’s Diesel Mondeo and realised before I started the engine. When the AA man arrived he siphoned half of it out and tipped it straight into his own fuel tank on his truck. He said to me. “Now top it up with Diesel you’ll be fine.” My Dad was well chuffed when I brought the car home with a full tank!
