just cant make my mind up whether to book work in for tomorrow or not. -3 all day, so water is likely to freeze on application. I suppose i could book a load of OAPs in....they always have the central heating on full blast. That can stop the water freezing....sometimes.

Out since 9, full day today. Not that cold here, tomorrow & Thursday got work booked in, with the caveat of weather permitting. I'll keep going until there's an inch on the ground, if too cold for wfp I'll trad pole, I like the cold, think I was a Viking in a previous life. 

Very much like you mate; love being out in the cold!  Trad pole all day today and got a full day in   :1f44d:  I'm gona try throwing some whiskey in the water soap mix to stop it from freezing if it gets much colder, don't know if it will work but keen to stay out on the glass

Go out and slide your van into a car, lost no claims.

Very true.....and the Mrs has been busy all winter making parsnip wine, which is absolutely delicious

We've got about 4" of snow and it barely got above freezing all day. Van was in for a service so ruled me out today. Not above - 2 tomorrow and the job is a biggish call centre with regular visitors and paths all round it. Not worth the risk and can do it next week. 

Aim to be working Thursday and Friday.

Can handle the cold, got a hot water system. Just the risk aspect puts me off.

Feck it!!! I've sacked off the rest of the week. It's my indoor air rifle practice night in the pub tonight. I might be late home ?

Good to hear the efforts we have all gone to try and work. 

But sometimes enough is enough when it's this cold, one has to relax and think of those long summer days when one can work until 9pm.

Best to kick back relax and minimise risks and enjoy a little time off. ?
