why aren't lpg vehicles more popular?

Looking for a van and it surprises me that at half the price per gallon why they're not more popular.

Makes excellent sense for us sole traders.

Usually unreliable and when they go wrong they GO wrong.

it was the original cost of them and the fact that you lose a lot of space,

I had an lpg car before and I loved it the cost of fuel was great if I could afford another car thats lpg and one that I wanted id buy one .

The initial cost of the lpg installation is what puts the majority of people off as it would take forever to recoup the cost of the conversion

You can get it installed fairly cheap nowadays compared fo a few years ago .

Mate of mine had a conversion in his Rover 600. It filled the boot. Nuff said.

But a van makes more sense imo. Especially for us lot who don't really need all the space.
