So iv been using wfp for over 10 years. If we get 3 complains a year its a bad year.

So anyway i always check the windows when I post tickets through and ground 3 in a row that were bad on front. Back was fine nothing wrong. Turned out I underestimated how much extra I needed to rise in the direct sun. It's balzing hot today!

We tend to raise the flow rate on hot days

I've always found the issues start at the top of the frame. It's because its the first thing we clean but it is only rinsed while we're scrubbing it, the dirt has the time you're doing the rest of the window to dry onto it. The lower on the pane you go the more water has been flowing and rinsing as you work. With this in mind a simple fix is to just redo the top of each pane with one or two passes before you start rinsing.

Usually when its hot, the windows have dried before I'm leaving. I have a look for long streaks from vents or another place is down the middle of the living room window if it has 2 top hoppers. Seems to be white dust from the mullion that leaves a straight line down the middle of the glass.

I use a higher flow in hot weather too.....the windows dry within a few mins using hot in this weather so easy for me to give them a quick check....
I used cold for 4 cleans yesterday and then gave up. Charged batteries last night and I flew through most windows with the hose sweating away. What a difference, another windy told me a hot system is just an added expense and was wondering if he was right. Now I realise that running a cold system is a decade behind us, if you want to become efficient then swap over to hot because you will never look back. I was spoilt because I was hot from the start, well when I eventually got my boiler fixed and wouldn't dream of running cold if I can help it.
