Window Cleaners That Undercut

WCF

Help Support WCF:

it like that down here I see a new windy at least once a month one even had the cheek to knock my door one day when my van was on the drive lol

I'm with you there Ady, I have my areas where my work is and wouldn't dream of poaching any from anywhere and expect the same back. I've had a 10 break off windows and I'm sure there was more loyalty back then?

I hate people undercutting theres no need for it but I also hate it when someone tells you that this is there patch and to **** off. people don't realise its the 21st centuary and you can work were you want as long as you do a decent job you generally don't loose to many customers like dodger said if they do go to someone else just to save a quid do u really want them as a customer

Agree jim bob, work where you want, free country,I just hate scroates who try to undercut and you know there on the dole.the bloke who done it to me and nicked one house ended up in prison for stealing.the customer phoned me up again so I slapped another 3 quid on

If there is anyone on here that consider a round a patch could they explain the etiquette to me as I'm in a area covered in patches as I'm sure that there's plenty of windows waiting for window cleaners struggle to get me head round it has never come across it in other trades

Agree newbie,I introduced my self to window cleaners in area explaining I'm putting leaflets through door and that been window cleaner for years now goin on my own.if they do good job then nothing to worry about.the ones who got arsey aren't proper window cleaners.

Always looking on window cleaning rounds for sale for work to buy as not yet started up came across one on there where the guy states don't even think of stealing work as you will be reported found it quite offensive as trying to go about things in the correct way but had that round been closer might have been tempted to work it for free just to **** him off has dealing with him sounded like a pain in the **** don't think I would actually go through with it but does cross yer mind same with the patch boys who want to inflate the price of a worthless round it's in the back of your mind all the time when looking if these rounds are so great why sell em example £300 for £3000 I could work them off the patch for free has have money in my pocket to live off so why not treat the new guys with a bit more respect as they have usually enough financial power to be taken seriously not a go at most on here as respect is given where its deserved

how can he report you? and to who? no body owns a patch customers can choose who they want to clean there windows, no other business's have patches and you have to use them. people have the choice to use who they want. if these patch windys spent more time concentrating on there business and offering the best service possible then they wouldn't need to worry 95% of people are loyal to there windys as long as they do a good job

I feel for the good guys which most of you seem to be who will seem like soft targets to newbies looking for work I personally would leave the good guys alone but am of a age where bully boy tactics are wearing a bit thin and if required will go toe to toe
