Zero detailing

So it seems as though everyone has a way to do less detailing??Different ways of dog-earing and/or other ways to do it.

They all work!!??

That's good james but personally i would start the bend further along the channel so it is about an inch long but not bend the so severely (more of a step down at the end )

I tried re bending and the channel has gone all wave now /emoticons/sad.png

Can you cut the ends again and use it smaller?

12" when it was finished cut

And are you sure it is ruined as i have straightened and bent mine several times with no adverse effects

It is hard to do while holding phone in other hand and trying to see where that is aiming and watch your squeegee also

Missed a bit near the bottom and had to go back over as you can see

Re cutting a channel to dog ear let's hope I get it right this time lol

Just work from the front of the channel rather than the side at the end and don't go too mad with the bend and then you will see a difference

It is easier to bend it a touch more than straighten it

You'll be fine bud

It works on big channels too..this is my 18"

You can also see why i use ecover/flash as it hardly looks like there is soap on the glass even though it is wet

And it shines well...obviously not as much as with wfp and not for so long

That is more like it..a gradual bend

If you grab it with the pliers at the front of the channel like in the vid i posted yesterday about where your fingertips is and just bend it a touch more forwards

Just about the same again at the very most

Try how it is and see

At least doing it little by little it doesn't ruin it if you have to undo the last adjustment
