Shocking??

Hi. I've cleaned a couple of Solar panels in the past, however today I had a strange experience.

Firstly I got a couple of kicks from the panels.

Second....i was on other side of the roof/house cleaning the gutters when everytime I put my fingers in the water filled gutters I got little electric bites like pins under my nails.

Should that be happening???

nope. sorry. 

Probably a grounding issue. Use rubber gloves and boots next time.

Is it new build or an older house? Could be an earth issue. I had it before in an older house probably was wired 40 years ago. Gutter vac was giving that same tingling sensation. 

Is the bottom section of your pole insulated?

No not insulated. I asked custy to shut everything down. Wasn't sure if some major static. He's had panels up and running for 5 yrs on 40 yr old house.
