i could not beleive it, changed my membranes from 300 to 450 menbranes  3x100 / 3x150

300 took 6/7 hours to fill 220 water butt,  set up new membranes,  wow i set up for 450  , took just over 2 1/2  hours to fill 220 litre butt.,,   happy days.  best move ive done.

You have increased your r/o capacity by 50%. I did that 11 years ago and it was also a good move for me as well.

 
Any idea what your water pressure is @johnny bravo? Do you have booster pump? I have a 450gpd RO which takes 6 - 7 hours to fill a 220 litre water butt at 58psi 
@johnny bravodoes have a booster pump as his water pressure is the pits.

Your r/o is producing at a similar rate to the 450gpd unit we used with 150gpd membranes. Its probably slighly better as our WP was a little lower at 40psi. It used to take about 30 hours to fill a 1000l IBC tank in summer and 36 hours to fill the same one in winter when the water was colder.
