Gutter camera

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I was going out on a job today so thought better put me gopro gutter pole in the van before I leave home.

Anyway I rocks up at the house and looked up and there was a nice bush growing out of the front downspout.

Hmmm...I thought well I won't be needing me camera then:D

As per usual all 3 sides of the semi was blocked solid including the other downspout on the side.

The good bit was me guttervac nozzle fitted in the gap so was easy to clear the half round gutters which made a nice change:)

I still had to use me ladders to clear the blocked downspouts though:rolleyes:

I still have to get a gopro clamp to fit on me guttervac pole so on some jobs might not need to use me ladders at all./emoticons/wink.png

Seeing what you are trying to suck up in real time does make jobs quicker to do.

Today I cleared a rather tall large house gutters without the need for ladders at all which made a nice change.

Must say that gopro worked rather well /emoticons/smile.png

You will be able to pick them up dirt cheap as a new gopro hero 4 is coming out next year if you want to wait that long.

Also if you did not want to wait that long you might be lucky on fleebay / gumtree etc to be able to pickup a used gopro 3+ dirty cheap./emoticons/wink.png

You did go for it.I am trying to complete camera kit from cheaper bits.we will see how it goes..

Myself I wanted one in a hurry for that job so I bit the bullet and bought new locally.

Great posts on this subject fellas. I always use my telescopic lance and gutter u-bend to clean out downpipes smurf, works beautifully.

Can you upload a pic of what the actual camera looks like attached to your wfp smurf? I take it you have your phone attached to bottom of pole to pick up picture?

Funny you should say that I had it already out on the lawn just incase but just using a standard hose pipe on a pole with a narrow garden nozzle to blow any remaining crud through worked a treat. Whilst doing so at the same time acted as a water test to show the customer each downspout in tern were now free flowing;)

The chap wants me to clear the gutters on that one twice yearly now too /emoticons/biggrin.png

I am suprised Smurf that you have worked sio long without camera. I have started few months ago and since first gutter cleaning I have known that I need to get one.You paid 200 plus 70 for remote? Gopro black cost 270 but it comes with remote control.
