Peter I will take a picture when I'm cleaning it, its not massive but it a little bit out the way its about an hours work after the first clean but I've included 15 minutes each way for travel time.

Forgot to mention also had two friends phone me up to have there windows cleaned tonight that's another £25.00

another fruitful day i finished an estate i picked up two customers yesterday, had a slow start but ended up with £80.00 for 3.5 hours canvassing.

I find the canvassing super tiring I need to build up so I can do a full 8 hours a day, I'm planing on getting £500.00 next week weather permitting.

I've got the following to price tomorrow, hotel (i had a sneaky look) £60.00 and small organics food factory probably another £50 job.

If it all goes to plan I may be finishing my job at the end of the month /emoticons/smile.png I'm going to be pushing a £1000 after canvassing this Sunday.

Peter how long have you been running gum tree add?

Adam I managed to put myself on a rolling contract at work I also managed to get 30 days leave so I have to make this work, I don't want to go back is my motivation.

Out again today, I'm not doing the morning just afternoon.

Well only got 1 hours canvassing today and only a couple of maybes, well back to it tomorrow, going to try a 10-7 see what that brings in.

Signed up 8 customers £100.00

Started canvassing at 1:00 finished at 4:00 so much for the full day:(

Back at it tomorrow.

No first cleans yet got two weeks fully booked with first cleans starting from the 30th and I'm going to book the third week from new customers I pick up this week.

I've put my notice in at work 30 days paid leave to get the business of the ground no going back:)

I'm just doing cover till they get someone to replace me and I've been told I've got the option to come and go at work so a sweet deal really.

All sounds good Luc just a quick word to the wise, don't try to book too many first cleans in one day. Typical semis i can manage 15 to 18 but can do 25 service cleans a day no worries.

First cleans (all day) are energy sappers.

Good luck mate.

Thx green I've spread £500 of first cleans over four days weather permitting an average of 8 jobs per day. I need to be able to canvass in the evening as well, I think it's going to be a hard couple of months but worth it.

I would allow an hour per 1st clean. Thats what I did about 6 a day take time and make sure theyre mint before leaving last thing you want to do is lose a few. Although I was wfp if ur trad u wont have the drip issue.

it doesn't always go to plan hard day today, had to dodge showers all day phone calls from work so only managed 2 customers £35.00 still better than nothing back to it tomorrow.

@luc whats your sales pitch go like? well done pal really pleased for you, iv been started up now for 2 week and got 50 customers all from my Facebook account my flyers came today so will be getting out canvassing tomorrow as iv no work for 2 weeks now!

50 customers mate from Facebook that's amazing well done I haven't bothered with it at all.

There's no real secret with canvassing just be happy when knocking on doors make sure you introduce yourself and tell why your there if they say no, thank them and move on.

It's all a numbers game really some people are more natural to it than others but ultimately you have to put the time in, I would say I'm averaging £20 an hour for canvassing and on that calculation I can work out how long it's going to take me to hit my goals.

So tomorrow will go as follows 10-1 three hours and £60 afternoon 2-4 £40 and evening 6-8 £40 that's my day sometimes though it works out a lot better yesterday for example set myself a £100.00 and didn't get started till 12:30 but in a couple of hours reached my goal for the day.

The first hour can be strange I find and if the first ten customers say no don't let it put you of because chances are you will make up in the next hour.

So you have two weeks of what's your goal? how much do you want to achieve?

£500 a week if so work out a min you will take in a day and stick to it.

My goal is £500 a week yesterday I got £100 today £35 tomorrow I need £150 and so on, I've also had the nod on three big jobs of which should total £250 so I'm confidant I will reach my goal this week.

If you don't reach your goal don't let it knock you down keep ya chin up and move on you'll still be one step closer.

My circumstances have changed so my original goal of £2000 in 6 months has changed and have moved it to £2000 in 4 weeks.

I'm already over half way so on target to reach it.
