Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is a genie? It’s been mentioned a couple of times on here and I have never heard of it before..

The Elesa? The bottom link is just for carbon poles with Xline.The top one is the one I use.
The poles are taper fit and will stick and jam unless you clean / spray evetytimeThe Elesa? The bottom link is just for carbon poles with Xline.
I only fancied carbon poles for when I get an employee, wouldn't want them cracking their head open ? I have some carbon poles currently but they're not the best.I just use 40 foot of alloy poles, there very rigid.
I don't completely understand what taper fit is but just looking at the pic I can see what you mean. Back to the drawing board I think.The poles are taper fit and will stick and jam unless you clean / spray evetytime

@THL4KEL just pointed out that £800 is plus vat... Thats nearly a grand ??Just searching for one of these and came across this;

Interestingly it appears to be a side entry version ?
Top it off with these;

What are your thoughts @THL4KEL?
Is the side entry conversion literally as simple as cutting a hole and installing the inlet?
