These are what I'm wearing this winter..tried them last year and had lovely toasty feet.

They're far to big and heavy for me, I can understand for pressure washing but overkill for windows. We use Merrell ankle boots that are very light and water resistant. We do get wet feet in heavy rain or if we are working in long wet grass but majority of time stay dry. Personally prefer the lightweight and the odd wet feet to wearing big heavy waterproof boots.

I agree, I've just bought some of these Merrell Vego  reduced down to £84 from £120 Merrell's are the most comfortable boots and walking shoes I've ever worn

Redback UNPU

only boots I’ll wear, usually get 2/3 years out of a pair depending how good I am at remembering to treat the leather. Comfortable, lightweight and hard wearing.

walk 5 miles round the woods in the morning with the dogs, work all day in them, round the allotment for an hour, then a quick wipe with a damp cloth and I’ll wear the out with the wife at the weekends ?.

I have some Adidas Terrex Goretex boots which are fabric like the ones you linked I have found my feet get a bit cold although ain't had my wool socks on yet to see if that makes a difference on colder days, I'll have the Merrells as an alternative pair between certain days.

I signed up to emails from Merrell so hopefully I'll get a one for the sales and get another decent deal and maybe try the ones you have linked

My Merrell shoes are terrible when going into the shopping centre when wet, slip like crazy. About done a dinger when going into Mcdonalds, as slipped, close one. Good when working though.

McDonalds yeah that ? is everywhere but I wouldn't have anything from there

Just to clarify I'm a Pit-yaker with been from a mining village ?

A wooly back is someone from sheep sh***ing ? ? country erm I mean from a rural sheep farming area
You're all weird to us londoners.

You're close enough to be a woolyback

I would have though your Geography would have been better ? I'd sooner be a weirdo Pit-yacker than a ?? wooly back ? have a quick drive through Tow Law not far from Crook and ask them about Wooly backs but don't stop the van
I delivered aluminium to Bonds Foundry in Tow Law for many years, also to foundries in Bishop, Stanhope and Wolsingham so know the area well.

Dealt with loads of scrap yards all round the area as well and they all spoke the same lingo. Still think more sheep sh@ggers than pit yackers.
