Air vent in roof of van

Just after your thoughts on this. I've brought a connect and it has a black air driven vent on the top. Presumably might have had something like dogs or food inside the van.

I'm not too sure about keeping it fitted as I don't know how it will effect the van over winter regarding the Wfp system.

Can anyone shed some light or guidance please.

Won't affect anything, if anything it will stop condensation.

the best air vent ,in my opinion, is the ones that were fitted to MK1 /MK2 Escort vans. these are often sold on ebay, secondhand

Any kind of vent is very much a plus. Unless of course it leaks.
