Had a massive day out gutter cleaning today. Three 3 bed semi with extensions and I was there pulling out moss and muck with 6 aluminium extensions (600 grams each) tilted to 45 degrees for about two hours on each house.
Felt like in hell. On the last house I was so exhausted that I vent tile walking (didn't ever think I will ever do it) to get all the grass out of the overdue gutter over the extension.
Came home and first thing I did - ordered a new gutter vac with carbon fibre poles from www.guttercleaningsystems.co.uk
This is not an advertisement as I have no connection to Alex Day whatsoever (except that the previous gutter vac I got from him too and I loved it till today.. and I am doing at least 5 gutter jobs a week) just a little advice based on my short experience - if you are buying a pole or a gutter vac - aluminium is not the choice to go for.
Well - only if you are in doubt about how your new business is gonna pick up (my case - I have aluminium everything atm except the 35 slx) but if you know you can make some serious money with your tools - do not try to save few quid as it is just gonna ruin your days work and mood at the end of it.
So CHEERS and let the weekend begin!
