Afternoon all, hope you are all keeping well.

As the title quotes " Are times really tough right now"

After spending 2 mins flicking through the dreaded Facebook marketplace with a broad country search I have noticed there is absolutely stacks of Water fed pole window cleaning equipment for sale.

Some old tatty formally cheap but now overpriced rubbish for sale, lots of new failed starter kit and some second hand full on van mounted systems.

I was under the impression that times were good for the window cleaner and it doesn't make sense why there's so much equipment for sale, Really quite odd.

If you are starting out i suggest you have a quick search, you may find a gem in the rough.

Winter is coming (not a game of thrones quote lol)

People who started up are realising they don't like it and don't have big rounds yet so jack it in.

Make the most of it and buy whatever you need cheap .

If they won't make use of it I'm sure us hardened windies will.

30th winter comimg up for me so I know I am ok lol.

Well in reality 27th year as was a squaddie in reme during the 1st 3 years but was working doing friends gaffs on barracks on the sly and other friends in London while on leave. Then joined the reserves (princess of wales royal regiment in london ) for 7.5 years but was full time windows then.

Infantry and specialised in the gpmg machine gun.

Interestingly the only reserves regiment to be part of the royal guard but never had the opportunity to be outside Buckingham palace.

Be careful yas don’t get slated for buying stuff on the cheap , apparently if it’s stolen you the buyer gets branded with the same stick even though you didn’t know it actually was stolen ?

Maybe they didn't want you and your mates outside The Queen's house waving your machine guns around the place.

Had to be some reason?... Just saying. ?

It's now the pwrr (princess of wales royal regiment) but used to be queens regiment when I was there.

Still infantry and still got the machine gun platoon in Hornsea where I used to go but now pwrr and nicknamed the tigers.

Smells just like bacon sandwiches when someone has put a few 100 rounds down it.then grabs the barrel with their bare hand.

That’s something you only do once ??
It does make a mess of their hand.

A few 100 rounds and a gpmg barrel is glowing red.

Not good to try and swap barrels without gloves lol
