Best vans and pics ?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Wish I had a bigger van as have to try a try gutter vac, poles and genie in here at some point and that without the portable wfp system. Tried to utilise the ply as much as possible but ran out of space.

Have space in front of tank but didn't want to clog that up, no choice now I think . Next van will absolutely be a bigger one.

That looks a very tidy sorted van. Was that after you installed it all or after a few months?

Place called Metrax on ebay, their very good but what I would say is that the metal is starting to corrode on some of them than are holding the chems. Nothing horrendous but just incase anyone is purchasing them just an fyi kinda thing.

It's been like that for the last 2 years or so, that's pics from last week. Changed the layout several times and probably will again. I try to keep it clean and tidy but it's so hard when you do what we do.

Looking at Citroen Dispatch Driver M1400 2.0 BlueHDi 150, anyone driving one? Any issues? What's max tank size with 2 el-reels? Thanks

You could get away with 1000 ltr tank provided not to much other kit is  in the van but up to 850 would probably be a better option m we have the Toyota version of this van with a 600 ltr thermopure in it .

If you want a small van that will hold a 375 litre system then you can't go wrong with a bipper.

I have 2 now and parking is so easy with a small van.

Perfect in built up areas.

Nice.

@Dave BI forgot to mention you should put your number in big sign writing right underneath "Pure Clean Window Cleaning "

Other wise looks like the perfect size van for a window cleaning. ??

I agree with you also, unless you are buying a fairly new or brand new van with all the bells and whistles they look like van drive like a van and are basic with a cheap interior, getting on in my years at 45 yrs old I'd sooner have a cheap van that I spend limited time in on the whole over a working day as I am busy grafting so a bells and whistles van no longer appeals to me, blowing all my spare money on the allotment, I really do sound older than my years ?
"Get off my lawn " ?

You've lost me, have you been drinking  ?

It's a meme I saw year a ago with Clint Eastwood ... the last sentence you type just brought it to mind the "old then my years" ?

Nah it's a work night ?

Durham is a bit posher than where we live which is about 10 mile outside, you might have culture shock ?

I've lived the 'projects" to "gated estates" to a town of 14k people. So culture shock doesn't apply ???

Anyways it's all about the company you keep, not where or what you live in or do for a living.?

Going back on topic... anyone with vw tansporter with 700L+ tank? Pic's of set up?

Also, anyone with new shape berlingo/partner/combo 1000kg payload, what tank size and how it feels?

Full tank (300/350) in my caddy feels heavy aready, wonder if you can carry 500L+ safely in one of them now? Thanks
