Better safe than sorry today with old Doris!

Started work at 7am and done quite a high job and then onto one more fairly big domestic job and we decided to pack up for the day after that as the winds started to go mental!

We had to go home really as the next two jobs were both a lot of ladder work!

I'd rather lose half a days money than one of us get seriously injured or risk the pole leaving our hands and breaking or smashing someone else's property!

Anyone else pack up today due to the winds?

I couldn't agree more , sleet all day, gale force winds, wouldn't embarrass myself working in that.

Did one job, but found myself struggling to hold the pole against the wind.

Tried to carry but gave up after the wind caught my ladders and nearly took them off the van as moving to next job.

Make it up tomorrow.

I went out for a couple of hours before giving up and going to McDonald's. Went home after that.
