So hypo has turned lead brown ?

And pvc ? It just seems to rinse off fine

Taxlossloz best to wet it up first so the sh overspray doesn't do any damage, then start ur rinse on the lead first to neutralise the sh and u will be ok, the old white pvc can go (brown) [emoji849] but will come back white itself, test it first on a down pipe first

No website

Most to start were customers then they recommend to friend and family

Also when we finish a job we print off a large lamanated before and after pics

That we attach to a aboard and leave at bottom of drive!

I've got a load booked in already this year and pubs

And coupe kitchen cleans but not taking as much on this year

Last year worked every Sat and sun through the summer

Hi mate. Did you scrape that roof first, or did you just spray with hypo.

btw did you ever use those chems that say just spray on and they suppose to work in couple of months.

I have used Wet and forget - paid for by customer very expensive

Worked tho after months of rough weather

That roof was Not steep - a garage . So just blasted it off then hypo to kill anything left over @Barney

thanks buddy. How to you get on with the electic karcher as apposed to a petrol power washer?

I can't make my mind up. Ive heard that the more powerful ones are best, but my budget is tight.

Your other posts are so informative and you seem to have some serious experience.

you and @Eviestevie seem to have soo much experience. Ive got so many questions. I reckon I will have to PM you later to get serious advise.

But ... I would say not one person has asked me what machine I have - they just want results at reasonable price

I wouldn't advertise powerwashing services as i don't have professional gear but softwash is the way for me as you can just use WFP etc

I did have a petrol washer years ago but for now electric suits me ( skint as usual ) - just sits in van - 5 min setup when needed

You'll have to ask others that have one if its worth it

Do you find softwash is better? I'm testing my own patio with different options. It's in a bad state, lichen, moss etc. I tried a small domestic electric power washer, but wan't really powerful enough. I used house hold bleach but it did'nt remove black spots etc. Trying to source some hypo. Will that do the job?

I reckon if I take this further I will be using a combination of pressure washing and softwashing, depending on job like like drainage etc.

Hi Greener. Hypo is a strong bleeching agent called Sodium Hypochlorite.

Soft washing it basically using low power, like watering can or weed sprayer to apply hypo and then rinsing with normal hosepipe, as apposed to high pressure washing.

Thanks for the info @Barney /emoticons/wink.png so once you've applied the hypo do you just leave it for a while and then rinse the moss away from the roof? What affect will it have on the roof tiles? Thanks Greener

I need to do my own roof soon. It's got loads of moss and some lichen. Personally I'm going to scrape and brush the moss off before I treat it with chems.

You will need to leave hypo on for a while to let it do it's work, (still experimenting, but probably 1/2 hour to hour) then rinse off with hose pipe.

If you check some earlier posts from @Taxlossloz or @Eviestevie they have much more experience, they also posted some pics. of the results on patios etc.
