I think that the Aqu-dapter is the best thing since Mr Hovis said "Hey, I've got an idea that might make it easier for people to make their sandwiches"!!

aye cause pulling on a hose is a headache lolI just use a tap , i let it lay down and jus turn it off when i go ftomNack to front then i turn it again , saves all thhe headache
Actually I didn't think anything would come of it.Really? Did you contact us to let us know? Email us at sales @ aqua-dapter .co.uk and we can look into this for you.
But the hose twisting etc and the springs wtc sounds like a headache lolaye cause pulling on a hose is a headache lol
This is exactly what's happening to mine as well..........sometimes it takes 5or 6 yanks and I means yanks to get the flow to stop. It's fine turning on. The spring loaded catch thing stays in and stops the thing working properly. The hose though is the best I have used. But I have to say the aqua adapter is pretty disappointing. Only happens every other house maybe but you don't expect a £60 spring to not work properly.Hey Paul. The we thing that pulls back and forward is now jamming on its way back, it feels really tight or stiff, and the x thing that turns is usually stopping on the wee pop up bit so it's not turning on/off.. I then need to put pole down to push it back up.. This has only started happening yesterday and today.. Sometimes having to tug 3 or 4 times to get it to work.. I first thought I was too soft, but today I was having to pull quite hard, and if customers see the way I was having to do it today they are going to think I'm a plonker!I have tried un winding it, but after first house or 2 it's just as bad again.. Hate pulling up the pole and the water start shooting out and there's a knot of kink at the bottom of pole..
I really liked the idea of the aquadapter and so I didn't have to hold the tap in my hand but it's just not working for me.. /emoticons/sad.png
Nothing wrong with mine. But the hose twisting etc and the springs wtc sounds like a headache lol
Hi James,
What model do you have, what pole length and which hose are you using?
If the water is turning on fine, but not always off, yanking the hose may not help. It may mean that the carriage isn't returning fully to the top, releasing the lever for the next pull to switch off. Pulling multiple times probably means the "bounce" on one of those pulls is allowing the carriage far up enough for the lever to pop out.
I've asked about the model, pole etc. to try and understand properly what the issue may be. Depending on length etc. it might be that a slight push upward on the hose will help the spring get the carriage all the way up and then it will work on the next pull.
Paul
I agree HBut the hose twisting etc and the springs wtc sounds like a headache lol
if the carriage gets slightly stuck on mine that is what i do instead up pulling the **** out out of the hose to get it working. works a treat.when pulling on it, just follow the upward motion and 'help' it go back up, then it should release the lever and work as we'd expect!
