Fake Google review targeting window cleaners

Hi, had an email from Google saying someone posted a review, when I checked it someone with the user name irv4 irv 4 gave me one star with no comments, I checked other window cleaners he's done the same to about 15 I've got mine removed but it's a long and difficult process.

You don't have to have a website for someone to leave you a review.  Just advertising through google is enough.

Had it done to me, horrible nasty people. The same ones that wouldnt know how to advertise properly themself.

I've had two one star reviews from people who I have had no dealings with. What so ever. Reported to Google but nothing done, the only thing I could do was respond saying I think they have me confused with some one else and to get in touch with me ASAP to sort out the situation.

Remember, having a 100% rating seems suspicious. A 99% rating might gain you more customers.

True. Doesnt do you any good when trying to get in the 3 pack on maps and others have 5 stars though. Almost messed me up there

Poles apart I was one of the people that got a negative review from this muppet. I think they left 48 companies a negative review all within 1 hour. Iv reported it as spam but how do i get it removed?

Ah iv just rechecked and mine has been removed too.
