Flow Rate

    Just replaced 8mm bore hose with 6mm bore. Flow rate reduced on same controller setting :huh:
    Is this something anybody else experienced??

    It`s because the internal diameter is smaller, less room for the water to get out so you need more pressure for the same amount of water as you had before..

    i think.

    That's what I thought but had to have flow rate nearly at 100% :(

    I had mini bore mate so same external diameter but it had 8mm internal. This one 6mm internal ;)

    Pipes will hold more water inside. So weight will be more ;)

    bin controller and work with out, much faster and better

    But you get through tonnes of water right?

    no, still use less than 400, infact I am getting a 350 tank tonight
