Gardner doport brush

Hmm ok. I liked the DuPont ultimate when I first got it, but the inner bristles very quickly get crushed & twisted up. And it’s very lightweight/not good enough, on any frames & sills that are quite dirty in my opinion. I find the extreme natural the same, good on already fairly clean glass, but I don’t use it on anything pretty dirty.

But seeing 75/80% of my work is just regular window cleans, I might as well either use the extreme naturals I’ve got or get another couple DuPont ultimates..
I only do regular cleans not one off's, I have a good number of jobs on the new build estates which are still been developed as well as houses on main roads and houses surrounded by trees, I personally think that the Supreme is a better all rounder and worth a try, they only negative is that the edeges won't be as robust as an a Ultimate

My extreme nat hybrid and dupont ultimate have both seen many months of hard usage and both look new.

I think your applying too much pressure when agitating? I used to lean on the pole when agitating and would suffer the same issues, amongst others. The bristle tips are supposed to do the work, your brushes will last way longer, your joints too.

Use the super scraper for stubborn marks, its more efficient.

Possibly yeah

I've just seen someone post a picture of their new gardiners brush and in the box is what appears to be a coffee cup...?! I need one in my life, what's the prerequisites to getting one? ? ?

Buy a new brush and find out. I got one with a brush I bought last week. Feck knows how you get the lid on though ?. I had to turn the cup upside down to get the lid on which kind of defeats the object ?

Has anyone tried the supreme dupont yet ?
I was given a free pre-production model from @Alex Gardiner in April. I posted a review on this forum in June (just use search for supreme dupont if you want to read).

The brush is very good. I love the supreme dupont.

It's used as my main brush on my slx 18. The slx 30 with extention has the normal supreme.

I found with my normal extreme the stcok has worn by bashing brickwork etc. and bristles fall out.

I'm still using the supreme dupont after 6 months. I reckon the stock edges will wear out before the bristles. (you can buy a bumper which i use on my normal supreme). So for me it's long lasting and worth the price increase when I have to buy one.

It is showing signs of wear and tear, but it has still got plenty of life left in it. If you like the supreme range then give this a try.

Well @Alex Gardiner, Give 5% off everything and make yourself a few bob by shifting a lot of stock. That's how its done and folk on here will buy stuff for Christmas presents. I received an email regarding WCW but only on their Ebay site and it seems bizarre.

Hi SCS

?  We have trouble holding onto stock as it is!  Probably because we try to keep our prices keen all year round so everyone benefits all of the time.

I have had my Dupont for about a month now no problem,  love the way it glides over the glass no issues with the bristles sticking together.

Im going to stick with this type of brush and swap when doing Georgian windows to a flocked brush.

Yeh, because when Christmas comes, the dream present we all instantly think off is a new brush ?

Ordered the Supreme Dupont, arriving today (Thursday) straight into the trenches and into battle Friday, and heading to a large commercial job Saturday, will keep you posted with blow by blow accounts of how it goes ?

Well it arrived. Had it on all day, really like it, very quick across the glass, digs out the green/black bits that build up on the corners of frames, good at cleaning sills. Easily breaks down snail trails. Also cleaned off a yellow pollen splat. Very happy with it.
