Surely with new cleans it's better to trad it first time to know all the bits you can't see from the ground are gone and sills are spotless then wfp from then on

Yes Davey, I quoted one tonight and could see green on the edge of an upper sill. The ladders will have to come off the first time I clean it to make sure the sill is clear of green stuff for future cleans.

As said earlier ..... Garden pressure sprayer with 1/10 ratio of ubik2000 in and by the time you've reached for your pole it'll have melted off.

I use ubik on ALL my first cleans, so so so much faster. Give a good rinse after and Roberts your mothers brother

I'm not sure what I am lol. As I trad everything reachable and wfp tops only and usually more bottom windows than tops. I find it trad gives a better finish but gets dirtier quicker which is good as most people only sleep upstairs and spend most of the time downstairs so people are happy to see you once a month also saves tons of water. I pole my large commercials tho.

Also have ubik in a small spray bottle for my lower trad. Love the stuff too!

I trad everything but am a more modern tradder nowadays

I trad pole everything i can and get no complaints as use a 0° swiveloc and have years of practice with it

12" slimline flipper should be here friday or monday latest so am gonna learn with that too

Some people struggle with a trad pole but my customers tell me how handy it is not needing to use my ladders and what a good job i do

Are you sure you would put a scraper on a pole at that height? If it works it works but not sure I would have the guts or a steady enough hand to use that method.

Yep, I will use a scraper on a pole up to and including the 3rd storey.

Yes, you need practice at scraper use to ensure the right angle, and a water flow if you just have pure i.e. no soap. But, its just one of the skills we need.

Oh, and if your not certain about your blade - put in a new one! Blades are cheap, replacing scraped glass isn't.

i ask the customers to check or I check upstairs but my work isn't high and i can see if I've done a good job plus whats the point wfp if I've got to get my ladders off doesn't make sense.

I've done 170 first cleans in April and haven't lost one job to bad workmanship and have picked up 20 from recommendations so must be doing something right?

I'm not backing down you don't need ladders to work off like I said I use them for access plus I cant use them my knees are knackered so cant but I'm proof that you can window clean without ladders.

I have I just soak it scrub it and move on, then go back and repeat until its gone.

The op was asking about finding the fastest/easiest way to remove alot of bird poop on a large job using wfp method as time is money so to speak.

Most bird poop will come straight off using wfp method but burned in crap left for say about a year which that job was probably last cleaned is a different story all together.

And wfp is supposed to be quickerIt comes off first time for us tradders
