Help fitting Uni Valve to Gardiner pole

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Im about to fit exactly the same to the same - gardiners slx 22, but as far as I could make out from any instruction, I didnt need to cut off the ez snap and fit to the orange hose. I was gonna put a cut in the pole hose and do it that way. Is either way better than the other?

It’s not entirely clear to me what you’re saying. However, if you’re talking about cutting the hose off the Univalve, take care not to cut into the plastic of the Univalve as you’re doing it otherwise it will leak when you use it or at worst break when you pull on it.

i have just fitted uni  onto my gardiners re inforced hose,    i always add a o ring  on pole hose next to gooseneck,     , the pulling on hose will wear  on the push fitting where your pole hose is fitted onto your brush,      this Oring will  stop any tension on the fitting when pulling it all day.   haha

if you need to add extensions to your pole      just add a  hose pushfit at the bottom of your pole hose,    easier then to remove bottom part of hose  to push extensions through,     if you have a ball protector or like me a tennis ball also.

heavens forbid,  dont mention you ordered the wrong size O Rings,      people will think you r a bit tick.,  LOL    Thats what happened to me.   We have all done it.

@johnny bravo

is the reinforced hose working well with the univalve?

ive only ever used the orange hose that cane with my univalve but about to buy a new pole from Gardiners so want the right hose. The all season looks to stretchy. I did ask gardiners but because they don’t sell the univalve they wouldn’t make any recommendations
