for now tho ive cut a hose lock conector so i can force the hose on then jublie clip it on ive got some how water half inch hose from virotech the black stuff it can handle hot water so fingers crossed it will not pop off

In the early days I liked these;

Brass Hozelock Quick Release Coupling 2 size hose tail 1/2" & 3/4" (12 & 19mm)

but I think the Gardiner double O Ringed connectors are better.

If you are fitting the brass swivel elbow to the hose reel as you have indicated then the 1/2" barb to coupling shut-off from our QR Metal range as you have shown would work well /emoticons/smile.png
