Biocide doesn't normally work instantly like Hypo, it needs time to work. But, unlike hypo it keeps killing spores for some months afterwards. Its also nicer to people, pets and the environment than hypo.
The Benz web site has a lot of information on using Biocide, you may want to spend a bit of time there.

Another Clean Window
Interesting, so you basically spray it on the render and agitate with a brush then rinse, then over time the algae and crud on the wall breaks down and gets cleaner?
Do you have to go back and rinse again?
