Is my quote reasonable?

It was 20+ years ago and I dealt with Gil Wilson. Probably retired now, if still alive as he was no spring chicken. 

That was Gilbert Wilson the owner who is still alive and in his eighties. Carlton Die Casting still going strong and the guy up the stairs from my mum works there. Small world but i wouldn't like to paint it! ?

Still open which is hard to believe because all the rest have closed down decades ago! Will find out who own's it now when my mum bumps into her neighbour when he is putting the bins out.
