Hey guys…. Just got my new tank fitted in new van. Its brilliant! Full R/o double Di. Auto flush (press button and flushes for 10 mins then automatically starts making pure water). Split relay, 750 litre tank. They fitted my electric reels and changed the belts for free. Very professional fit. Worked with it for 2 weeks now, my son and I. Love it highly recommend.

Lovely van and a nice install.
I like the VW transporter very nice .Thought it was only plumbers and sparks who drove nearly new ones of them.
Cheers - been saving like mad as my old VW 2007 basic model is a bit tired after 14 years of lugging 650 litres of water. Did me proud though. New van is an incredible drive. Do me til I retire 😊

Class looking , how much was that all in ? I’ve the older setup , shame they don’t do a 1000 litre tank

It was about £5500 fitted, but I had my own waterworks electric reels which are about £1100 for the two. The 750 litre I think is bigger cos we had an old Brodex 650 litre tank and only just had enough for two of us working all day. With this one it fills to the brim and we worked a day and a half and still had quite a lot left. All in all good deal.
My Brodex system cost me nearly £6000 14 years ago and that’s a real basic RO single Di so to have all of this technology on the Tank for less is brilliant 😊

Absolute Rolls -Royce mate.Enjoy

@Chester64 i was once informed by someone who knows more about tanks than many others in the trade that, the ones from waterworks are the best if you ever wanted to add an immersion element, they have a thicker wall and will stand up to the heat and not distort and weaken over time like the mainstream offerings, nice van and set up mate.

Hi. I can only compare to my Brodex tank, and the waterworks does seem stronger than my old one. I’ve never used an immersion element though. Always use cold water.

Just looked on there site for hose reel hose looks like they only do the 6m reel hose not a choice for the 8m
Hi, I’ve always used microbore, about 14 years reach and wash (25 years before that ladder work). The waterworks hose is really good, only took a day for it to lose its memory and is now nice and flat. Its so high vis I’ve had customers this week comment on its brightness 😊

Personally I think it's a good move to get a brand new system fitted in a brand new van if your serious about window cleaning for many years to come.

No window cleaner wants to be taking systems out of their vans every few years and the hassle of it. That way you can concentrate on cleaning with minimal disruptions/downtime,etc

Enjoy your new van and system!

72 plate isn't brand new. It's 2 years old.
I agree that it looks really nice as does the system.

I think the reason for them only supplying 6mm is that a full 100 metres of minibore won't fit comfortably on the hose reel.
Hi, yes that’s the reason I’ve only ever used microbore, because it fits comfortably on the hose reel. I once had a job of cleaning a massive nursing home complex. To get around the back I had to fit a join and make a 150 metre hose reel! All had to wound in by hand as electric reels weren’t out then. Talk about knackering. Thank goodness for electric reels 😊
