So my question not answered. Like I said earlier. I give it two years max. If you're still in business you'll be joining the rest of us with wfp, even though we don't have common sense we make no money and we have to compete. Remember where you heard it first.

I can't speak for anyone else but I'm very happy with my quality of life, the house I live in and the vehicles my wife and I own.

put your money where your mouth is then. Happy to have a wager that I am still trad in two years. 

I never said you don't get good money or challenged your work ethic all i said is pure trad is a good option as its specialist as is high access which is another area i want to work in.

Why would I want to compete against all the other people doing WFP, if you want to make money then you have to be different.

Cleaning a window isn't something you have to be different in, the customer pays for clean windows, what are you actually on about. As @steve garwood said, at this point it's a fact that WFP leaves better results whilst also being faster and safer.

The people that you're arguing with are the same people who helped me on here to grow a successful business, maybe you should try and listen to them ?

It's also a much better, more professional job. How can it not be? No re-used water at any time. No soap/lubrication residue left on the glass from blading. All frames properly washed. All nooks, crannies and vents washed out every time.

Thank you Joshy. We offered him the hand of welcome and sincere advice on the forum when he wanted to start very recently. Only to have our methods criticised as soon as as he got going. Some people don't take long to forget their roots. Others of us do our best to never forget where we once were and those who tried to help us.

Let him carry on we pick up tones of trad cleaners work beacause the window frames arnt cleaned , also I would love to see him do theses  with his ladders ????

I am sorry if I  upset you previously and I am sure I apologised before but in my defence i was getting ganged up on a bit and I was new, so of course I got defensive and tried to stand my ground.

I absolutely never try to pull anyone down. It's not in my nature. However if you are going to dish out criticism, as you definitely have on this forum. Where I am concerned you will receive a slice of it. "It", on this occasion being home truths.

There will always be customers that want trad. Its just the way things are. 

You are right there. I have two customers who refuse to let me near their windows with my wfp so I Trad them but for how long I don't know. I'm beginning to get fed up with it and may move them on to a Trad guy.

It's a shame really, you'll end up having a fall and sustain a serious injury. 

I know window cleaners that stopped tradding (and window cleaning) once they fell off their ladders. And these are blokes that are 20+ years. But, of course, they thought it'd never happen to them as they used their ladders safely...

Do yourself a huge favour and go WFP. More so for your own safety but also higher earnings and better results. You haven't been in the game long, so obviously don't know the benefits of WFP. You'd be welcome to come out with us for the day and see how much safer it is.

I'm beyond thoroughly exhausted just looking at those photos! Fair play! You guys have my admiration for tackling that.

On a different note : Three years ago when we were down there for the West Cornwall Sea Kayak Meet at St Just, our sea kayaking crew (four of us) launched from Mullion Cove when we kayaked round the Lizard to Cadgwith Harbour. We stopped off at Kynance Cove to catch our breath, have a bite to eat and light the Primus stove for a brew while the tide was building. We were waiting for a bit of tidal assistance round the point and up to Cadgwith.

We had planned on going back for the WCSKM the following year but the weather was atrocious. Last year I wasn't able to go due to health issues and the lads (luv em) wouldn't go and leave me behind. This year the Corona virus scuppered us and the event was cancelled. Fingers crossed for next year. ?
