My video about the 'one shot' remote for those that wanted to get one

How long is the wire.. I could wind it around the hose and attach the ariel to the bottom of my pole then I'd never be out of range /emoticons/wink.png Ok I'm just being silly now! /emoticons/biggrin.png
I see gardiners have a 3 button remote for sale too, shame you can't buy that seperately as I do play around with my pump speed a fair bit depending on height and window type and can see that would be useful, but I'm usually around the 30 mark, which I thought was high until recently seeing you lot on here easily use double that speed... But I guess now with the one-stop I won't need to worry about my water so much - I only carry 200 litres. Can't wait to get it and fit it now
Yeah I know! I might upgrade mine to a speed control one later in the year..

I used to run at 37 on the controller but now it's more like 60-70 which is soooo much faster to clean with!

I don't see how it's any better than having a tap on a belt. With the tap, when you shut it, it immediately stops water flow so saves more water than this one shot thingy, and it always works even on the other side of the house /emoticons/tongue.png

I guess the only pro is that there is no pressure build up so no leaky connectors ever, but the amount it would leak will come out of your brush after you pressed the button on the remote

Alright mate, what size of tank would you recommend for a van with a 595kg payload?

Also I'm guessing if using a hot water heater then there is less risk of blowing hoses etc and the heater ignition will last longer too.

the big benfit @heyoh is that u dont work the pump to the ground u r saving the battery and saving all ur connections etc

X-line are bringing one out and it looks the nuts[emoji108]

looks good but I hope they have covers on the usb ports...as water and leccy dont mix well.../emoticons/biggrin.png

just waiting for some one to report on the weight..but it should be okay.

cheapie keeping an eye on that...

Fingers crossed I'll get the one-shot in the post tomorrow /emoticons/biggrin.png I won't get a chance to fit it until wednesday though as I am braving a broken arm and going back to work on a full interior and exterior window and fsg job, followed by helping to fit a kitchen in the afternoon. Think I may need to buy a bunch of painkillers for tomorrow evening

I see your taking it easy then with a broken arm and all..wtf /emoticons/biggrin.png

Yeah, well I was up until now smurf /emoticons/biggrin.png I physically can't straighten my arm, but its mostly ok to assist my good arm. However if I put any sideways pressure on my elbow its not much fun, which may make using my wfp pole a bit trickey up high, which fortunately won't be too much on this job. The one trickey bit are two large velux skylights to clean internally above a split level staircase. Still, it gets me out of the house

Just take it easy or frank might be too eager to step in to give you a hand

Given myself 4 hours to do it all so I can take my time. And fsg are barely dirty, a quick wipe down with wfp will clean them easily. Franks already given me one hand, l'll have to make extra use my non-frank hand /emoticons/wink.png All I can say is I won't be going up any ladders tomorrow that's for certain! /emoticons/biggrin.png

That x-line gizmo sounds great.. At first, but then it would extend the brush head from the pole and no doubt with a solenoid and battery add a fair bit of weight up there.

I think I linked this before, but this is what I use:

15 quid on cleaning spot, add the holster for another 9.40.

I know it's not as fancy as having a remote around your neck, but with this I can shut the doors on van, +flow immediately stops.

Just ordered mine after watching the video hopefully no more wet leg /emoticons/smile.png
I use the same tap that I bought 1.5 years ago. It leaked once, I changed the ptfe tape and jubilee clip on it and it's good as new.

If you don't like rectus fittings, just change the end bit to this:

As for the pump, I've been using the same shurflo pump for the last 4 years. Battery is 1.5 years old.

Cleaning spot says this:

: Note The water flow make take a few seconds to stop once you have stooped the pump. This is due to pressure in the hose and the DE calibration setting. Be aware the higher the Calibration and Flow setting the higher the pressure. These will effect how long it takes for the water flow to stop. Push the One Shot fob once after a few seconds the flow will stop. -
I prefer to shut flow between each window, so I would be pressing that button I don't know  ~150 times a day

Ok I am done slacking 1-shot :rofl::rofl: now go buy it
