Yeah I know what you mean, thankfully I don't clean in any dodgy areas! I was thinking of fitting a hose guide in the door though...

Might be a project in the next month...

Other than my poles everything is fixed/screwed down, so not a lot to steal, and the poles are usually quite safe as I wrap the pole hose round hooks which means it takes a while to get them off!

But still, I may look into a hose guide in the door...

Watch the video, this may well be an idea for you to resolve the issue with taps/aquadaptor...

I got one of these after watching the vid and I do love it...I wouldn't say it saves me water but it saves me countless tangles from doubleing back on my self to get to the tap...but my flow carries on far longer than Jakes, a good 10 seconds before it stops entirely!!!

I've got a female ez valve on the end of my reel which cuts the flow and allows the hose to pressurise when the pole is disconnected. When I disconnect the pole and switch on the pump it runs for quite a while and the whole reel seams to expand as it pressurises before the dead end on the controller kicks in!

The hose is pure freedom 8mm and a couple years old, is it knackered or is it more likely I've got air in there somewhere?

Yeah that's probably because your using a high flow rate? You do get dribble, but I press the button as im rinsing and use that excess water to finish the rinse so it's never wasted....

The main thing for me was how much longer the battery lasts and the ease of use, I think my pump will run an me run as well due to never having back pressure, nothing you can do about the excess dribble I'm afraid, unless you use lower flow rate, then it stops very fast

I know but does it need a direct wire link to the battery or does it hook into the controllers 12v feed. Basically if it requires full battery wiring I cannot be bothered to mess around taking my side panels off to wire up neat lol

Well get the 3mm pencil jets in, almost no dribble - found out the other day, couldn't believe the difference, it almost stops instantly, those 3mm jets create far less back pressure! Another perk to the 3mm jets!

cheers Jake, the other thing I found was some trapped air in my di vessel, I let the pump pressurise the system with the tap turned off then slightly unscrew the top of the di, you get a big hiss of escaping air then a little water, tighten the top again and my flow now stops pretty quick

Mines wired into the controllers supply, works fine. No need to hook it up directly to the battery as it doesn't draw much current.

how do you guys find pressing the switch to turn the supply off, then remembering to turn the controller power off once back at the van, i find thats going to annoy me slightly think i might have to look at modding it some how does anybody know if the varistream controllers have a memory? has I'm thinking of playing with set up so that it turns the controller power on and off not just the pump so that it will turn back on each time with my usual setting on?

Well I always have to reel in the hose and put the pole back in the van so im right by the controller, it's just habit for me to turn it off just before I reel in the hose...

You'll remember! If not just don't press the button when your driving along!

Just walk back to the van and straight away turn off the controller beifre you reel in the hose..

Not the end of the world if you forget, just leave the fob in the back of the van so it can't get absolutely pressed!
