New trad start up

I'm a new start up juts kitting my self out I have a full set of ladders, I need advice on a moerman set up what inch squeegee and fliq for small shop front and houses and also what pole to get to work with this up to two storeys high. I I'll eventually get a wfp backpack I just don't have the cash to outlay and I want to get a firm basis in trad to begin with

You'll want a variety of sizes, 10" 14" and 18" tend to be the sizes I use the most.

In find 14" is fine for me when it comes to residential. Typically it's best to keep the brands together so moerman squeegee with a moerman pole. But others like unger will also be fine and it comes down to personal preference.

I would advise just getting a 10inch moerman first to see if you can master the technique of using it. Slightly different to just normal squegees as other posts on this site will state.

Some just do not seem to master Moermans.

Okay thanks I will just get one handle and some channels to begin with, and practice till I get the hang of it ?

What about cleaning liquid, some on YouTube say having a bottle of washing up liquid works? Is this true?

Yes a bottle of fairy liquid or similar will be fine.

You can buy specialist cleaning liquid such as 'squeegee off' but obviously it's more expensive...
