No it's mainly in the northern hemisphere where we're all at the end of winter now. China, Iran, South Korea, Italy all have max temps of around 13c at the moment and they're the worst hit but that's now, when it all started it would have been colder. In the southern hemisphere it's not spreading at the moment, when it gets to August then it will start to spread as it's their winter. It's in some of the hot countries already and doing quite a bit of harm as far as I know. This could unfold any way. Might not be too bad but might be dreadful.
It's interesting reading up about viruses. There was a lot of hysteria when we had swine flu in 2009. In actual fact there were 30,000 less deaths in USA than normal in that year as it wasn't as bad as other strains of flu.
I think it will all blow over, just hoping the economy doesn't get hit. The airlines are being hit hard by it. Exhibitions being cancelled, big events being cancelled. Then you have businesses like soap manufactures that are currently doing a booming trade. The supermarkets are running out of hand soaps. Apparently private jets are experiencing a mega uplift in business. Winners and losers.
