Never been stolen, its still chained and disk locked with a separate set of keys that are inside.

My neighbor leaves her house/car keys in her front door lol

Yup ..... The main reason they have these "get out clause" is to make sure that all though you have insurance, you still need to be responsible for your belongings and keep them secure

yer, insurance compaany will try anything to get out of paying up for anything!

Yes but equally they want be to be responsible, most theft claims we have could have been avoided if the client hasn't lost there old keys etc.

Also if you ever loose your keys, you must get all your and keys replaced otherwise if it ever gets stolen they will refuse cover.

Nope, my insurance company I work for has it in the standard policy wording (which by the way your meant to read within 14 days or you loose the right to cancel because of it)

Robbing ba****ds I had my car with them and cancelled it then forgot to tell me then got pulled by the police

I work for the claims department, it would be the brokers that canceled it. Why did they cancel it? Missed payment? No documents returned? No credit agreement?

same here, aviva cancelled it at the start of the month and then sent me a letter at the end of the month! so was driving around without insurance and didnt know about it!

i was working away the once and got pulled by the police on the way to wrexham at 5 in the morning .

they said you got ya fog lights on i say yes because i have gone through a fog bank blah blah blah

anyways they give me a producer .

i get to work and have a missed call about 10 am off the insurance company to say i need to fax a copy of my licence over

so i go to the office and ask them to fax my licence over so they do as far as im aware as he give me a piece of paper

to say its been sent . But it didnt send so when i go to produce i cant as the insurance company say i wasnt covered .

Had to go to court and got 6 points a driving ban of 6 months and a feck off fine ffs .

even tho i was insured !!!
