Hope im doing enough to keep mine from freezing have a van mounted system and no means to get a heater into back of van at night so its all run dry and covered up with a few thick quilts :/ ....

So I've checked van and all my hoses are frozen

My thoughts are to buy some of the pipe lagging and cable tie it around my hoses will this help freezing hoses ????

we did. all schools closed and my wife working from home. bit of rain forecast tomorrow so fingers crossed will clear up. I work in high Ercall and shawbury mainly so even worse out there. Not risking it in country lanes. got few in welly to do so probably do them first.

Get a greenhouse paraffin heater for the back of the van if you cant get electric.

Is that safe to leave on overnight in van ??? Or do I just turn it on hour or 2 in morning

im going to tell you all how to keep chill out of van and @ 1p per hour,  has anyone any idea as to what im going to tell you.

im trying it now on my frozen pipes

When I had my two truckmounts it was all i used every night in the good old days when we got days of cold weather

Never had a problem and cheap as chips - just stunk a bit first thing.

I remember the biggest pain was the vans diesel freezing
