If its freezing take multiple 25 litre containers of red hot water and pump it up there.

Was it damp or dry up there? Did it take a while?

It was damp we wetted it down first to soften it combination of the vac and gutter hook to get it all out as it had grown under the roof tiles and on to the roof as well took a morning to do both houses front and back , front was easier as only 2 storey. Evan unblocked the downpipes with the vac no problem , all done from the ground .
