They are leather so need looking after with Dubbing and Grangers G-Wax , The leather gets damp but my feet stay dry I dry them on the radiator then apply dubbing and leave to soak in for 1 hour then put back on rad to let dubbing soak right in then the same with 2 coats of G-Wax this I do twice a week
It really is the best stuff to use as you will know it needs heating up to fully soak in and dry fully.Damn!You're old school 'iron giant'
I haven't heard about Dubbin for about 20 years [emoji1]
I was using that back in the 80's & early 90's when I'd go backpacking... Didn't realise it was still in use [emoji106]
