I thought I had an easy day till I remembered I had to fit a new cable track on my van's sliding door. How do these things not go back together again like the old one! Now the rain is here and I'm on my lunch break, need to get grinder out to make it fit. Happy days.

Still, you should be pretty quick with that grinder after all the practice you’ve had on peoples gates ??

Aye, got it fitting with help from my grinder. Got another wee job replacing a slip bolt which broke. Anyhow, I must be doing something right because a male customer paid me right up till March and asked how I got his pvc door so clean? The brush and degreaser I told him and he was chuff to bits. As I have always said, the customer's front door is a must if you want to keep them happy. :1f609:

14 more to go then home in time for tea and biscuits
Sounds like a good choice. I was not so wise. Just been out with buddies for a curry night & had a madras (my “go to” curry when at hone) schoolboy error, should have gone one milder. Nearly blew my head off. And i had a beer so feeling a bit wobbly [emoji85]
It certainly took the edge off a wet a drizzly working week though & don’t think i’ll be catching a cold any time soon. Cor blimey [emoji892][emoji892]

Absolutely nothing like mushy peas. I don’t like them either.

The liquor is actually made from parsley.

Its very important if you try it, to add the chilli vinegar to the liquor or it will not taste how it’s supposed too.

Also, it’s imperative you try it in a REAL pie mash shop.

There are a lot of copy cat ones that aren’t anywhere near as nice.

Arments, Goddards or the very best, manzes are the place to go.

Me and my mates go to the one in tower bridge rd, Bermondsey.

There is also one in the place I grew up, Peckham.

It’s God’s way of treating mankind ?
The liqour is usually made with the juice from cooking eels in a proper pie n mash shop

Best food in the world @steve garwood

Apart from curry goat with rice n peas

Sounds good to me, struggling from now till May though. Or an evening in between Christmas and New Year
I just thought if you were over this way with some of your commercials and you had some free time after, it would be a decent drive just for something to eat on an evening just message me as I am always free on an evening and usually get an early finish on a Friday if the weather has been decent.
